Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of Mardonic, a personal life analysis platform operated by Polsia, Inc. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
If you don't agree, don't use the service. That's the deal.
What Mardonic Is
Mardonic is a self-directed analytical tool. It applies the methods of financial technical analysis — candlestick charts, trendlines, pattern recognition, momentum indicators — to data you provide about your own life across the sectors you define.
Important disclaimer: Mardonic is not therapy, counseling, or medical advice. The patterns, flags, and coaching prompts it generates are informational and analytical in nature — not clinical assessments, psychological diagnoses, or medical recommendations. If you are in crisis or require mental health support, please contact a qualified professional.
The value of Mardonic comes from consistent, honest self-reporting over time. The quality of your chart is a direct function of the quality of your inputs.
Your Account
To use Mardonic, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for:
- Providing honest responses in your assessments. The chart reflects what you input — not what's actually happening.
- Keeping your password secure. We're not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from your failure to protect your credentials.
- All activity that occurs under your account.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Mardonic.
One account per person. Accounts are non-transferable.
Subscription and Billing
- Free trial: New accounts get a 7-day free trial. No credit card is required to start the trial.
- Subscription price: $9.99 per month after the trial period ends.
- Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. Your card is charged at the end of the trial and on the same date each subsequent month.
- Cancellation: You can cancel at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you won't be charged again.
- Data after cancellation: Your data is retained for 30 days after cancellation. After 30 days, it is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. If you reactivate within 30 days, your history is preserved.
- Refunds: We don't offer refunds for partial months. If you have a genuine billing issue, contact us at mardonic@polsia.app and we'll work it out.
- Price changes: If we change the subscription price, we'll notify you at least 30 days in advance via email. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new price.
Acceptable Use
Mardonic is for personal use only. You agree not to:
- Share your account with other people.
- Attempt to scrape, copy, or extract data from the platform in bulk.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to access our source code.
- Use the service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
- Attempt to interfere with the security or integrity of the platform.
- Submit false or misleading information in support requests.
Violating these terms may result in immediate account termination without refund.
Your Data
You own your data. What you input into Mardonic belongs to you. We use it only to provide and improve the service — see our Privacy Policy for the full breakdown.
You can request a data export or account deletion at any time by contacting mardonic@polsia.app.
By using the service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and analyze your data for the purpose of operating Mardonic. This license ends when you delete your account.
Intellectual Property
The Mardonic platform — including its software, algorithms, chart methodology, visual design, and brand — is owned by Polsia, Inc. and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the platform without written permission.
Your personal data (your assessment responses, your chart data) belongs to you. Our analytical methods and the software that generates your chart belong to us.
Service Availability
We aim for high availability, but we don't guarantee it. The service may be unavailable due to maintenance, infrastructure issues, or factors outside our control. We don't provide service credits for downtime.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time. If we discontinue the service entirely, we'll provide at least 30 days notice and a prorated refund for the unused portion of your subscription.
Limitation of Liability
Mardonic is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind — express or implied — including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose or merchantability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Polsia, Inc. will not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
- Loss of data, revenue, or profits.
- Decisions made based on Mardonic analysis — including health, financial, relationship, or career decisions.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Modifications to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do:
- We'll update the effective date at the top.
- We'll notify active subscribers via email at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
- Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
If you disagree with updated terms, you can cancel your account before the effective date without penalty for the remaining period.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall be resolved in the courts of Florida.
